About this Scholarship
The University of Port Harcourt Mastercard Scholarship is a fully funded program that aims to support young African students who are economically disadvantaged but academically competent. The scholarship is part of the Transforming African Agricultural Universities to Meaningfully Contribute to Africaβs Growth and Development (TAGDev 2.0) Programme, which seeks to strengthen universities and TVET institutions to better serve communities by skilling and empowering Africaβs young people and their institutions to drive inclusive, equitable and climate resilient transformation of agriculture and agri-food systems. β Eligibility Criteria
- βTo be eligible, applicants must be nationals of Nigeria or refugees resident in Nigeria, be less than 25 years for undergraduate and less than 30 years for postgraduate studies, and be from economically disadvantaged, marginalized communities. There is no requirement for IELTS.
